One is already happy before one has reached the plane tree alley of the Château des Alpilles, which leads to the hotel, so romantic is the approach. If you sit under the trees in the evening by candlelight and eat the menu of the house, you feel like in a French film. Inside, on the other hand, you sit on Eero Saarinen’s designer tulip chairs, which is a wonderful contrast to the sophisticated architecture. The rooms are stylish, in darker tones, have many windows, which anyway gives the villa a nice character, high ceilings and partly also a fireplace. The newly renovated rooms, the pool, the sauna and the barbecue area set a harmonious contrast to the weathered, stately charmaber. The Château is elegant and casual, underlined by the eloquent charm of Catherine Rollin, who runs the house as a family business. They are part of the hautevollee of the city, firmly anchored in cultural life and always have a tip for an interesting event.
